WE BOTH MET WHILST SERVING IN THE BRITISH ARMY, AND WE HAVE A COMBINED 16 YEARS OF
MILITARY EXPERIENCE, WHERE WE HAVE BOTH TRAVELLED ALL OVER THE WORLD AND BOTH SERVED ON OPERATIONAL TOURS IN AFGHANISTAN.
WE BOTH HAD AN AMBITION TO HAVE OUR OWN BUSINESS ONE DAY, AND WITH NICKS PASSION AND KNOWLEDGE IN CAR CARE
AND KELLYS OBSESSIVE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, WE BOTH LEFT THE MILITARY AND BEGAN THE JOURNEY TOGETHER.
AFTER YEARS OF PLANNING (& SAVING), ON THE 14TH MARCH 2018, WE SECURED OUR OWN UNIT IN MANSFIELD, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE,
WHERE THE YUMCARS TRANSFORMATION BEGAN TO TAKE SHAPE.
WHY MANSFIELD? WELL, THIS IS NEAR KELLYS HOME TOWN, AND BEING BASED IN THE MIDLANDS, IT HAS GREAT ACCESS ROUTES FOR THE ENTIRE UK.
IT WAS ALSO HARD TO SECURE A COMMERCIAL UNIT IN OTHER AREAS DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS.
 

WE ATTENDED A LOT OF TRADE SHOWS IN THE BEGINNING WHERE WE HAD A HELPING HAND FROM OUR COCKER SPANIEL,
JEFF THE MASCOT (AKA THE WASH MITT), WHO FOLLOWED US ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY, STANDING IN AS OUR PERSONAL SECURITY GUARD.
OVER THE YEARS, WE HAVE HOSTED A NUMBER OF CAR EVENTS AT YUMCARS HQ WHICH WE CONTINUE TO LOVE & ENJOY.
A ONE UNIT OPERATION QUICKLY TURNED INTO FOUR AS WE QUICKLY BEGAN TO EXPAND OUR OPERATION & GAINED DEALERS AROUND THE WORLD. YOU CAN FIND OUR AUTHORISED DEALERS HERE
IN 2022, WE MOVED OUR MAIN OPERATION TO SOUTH YORKSHIRE AND WE CAN’T WAIT TO WELCOME EVERYONE IN 2023.
WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER WITH THE MOVE TO A LARGER LOCATION WITH OUR OWN PRIVATE CAR PARKING. 
WE ARE VERY PROUD TO BE WORKING ALONGSIDE SOME OF THE BEST COMPANIES IN THE WORLD, SUCH AS MTM HYDRO USA,
MOSTMATIC, BRAUN BRUSH, KRANZLE AND PRESSOL. WE COUNT OUR BLESSINGS EVERYDAY FOR THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE ARE GIVEN.
