OUR STORY

For The Ones Creating A New Path
Built for the ones creating a new path without forgetting where they come from.

The cycle breakers.

The story carriers.

The people moving with purpose.

We are a personal leadership lifestyle brand rooted in streetwear and Anishinaabe culture.

Our clothing is the front door.

The story behind it is what makes it different.

Every piece is made to help people show up with meaning, carry what matters, and stand with something bigger than the product.

Founded From Lived Experience
Red Rebel Armour was founded by Sean Rayland-Boubar, an Anishinaabe entrepreneur from Winnipeg.

He created the brand from lived experience and a desire to preserve culture through streetwear so it could be seen, worn, and carried by the next generation.

The vision grew into something bigger: building a company strong enough to create jobs, skills, and opportunities for relatives returning home from the criminal justice system.

More Than Clothing
Red Rebel Armour started as a clothing brand, but it has always been about more than clothing.

It is about story.

It is about care.

It is about responsibility.

It is about creating new paths through the work we do every day.

We blend streetwear with Anishinaabe culture and Indigenous ways of knowing, not as decoration, but as foundation.

Every design carries meaning. Every order carries intention. Every piece is part of a larger story.

Why We Build In-House
We did not build our in-house production model because it was easy.

We built it because how something is made matters.

When we print, press, embroider, fold, pack, and ship from our own shop, we keep the story in our hands.

That means we can care about the details.

We can protect the quality.

We can create real work.

We can teach skills.

We can build opportunity.

For us, production is not just fulfillment.

It is part of the mission.

Creating New Paths
Red Rebel Armour uses clothing and custom production to create meaningful work, skill-building, and opportunity.

Our team is built around people learning, growing, and stepping into more responsibility.

That includes relatives who have faced barriers to employment and are rebuilding their lives through real work, structure, support, and purpose.

We believe business can be a place where people grow.

Not just a place where products are made.

What You Make Possible
When you choose Red Rebel Armour, you are not just buying a hoodie, tee, or crewneck.

You are helping support:

Indigenous-led design and production.

In-house manufacturing in Winnipeg.

Paid work and skill-building.

A brand rooted in story, culture, and community.

A business built to create new paths.

Your order helps us keep building.

One piece at a time.

One order at a time.

One path at a time.

The People Behind The Brand
Red Rebel Armour is shaped by lived experience, community knowledge, and collective effort.

We work with Indigenous artists, makers, staff, and collaborators to create pieces that carry meaning with respect.

Culture is not a trend here.

It is something we are responsible for.

That responsibility shows up in how we design, how we produce, how we tell stories, and how we treat the people connected to this work.

Our North Star
We are here to build a brand people are proud to wear, a business organizations trust, and a system that helps create opportunity.

The lifestyle brand helps people show up with meaning.

The custom printing business helps organizations wear their story.

The employment pathway helps people create new paths through meaningful work.

One brand.

One story.

Many ways to build.

Miigwech
If you are here, you are already part of the story.

Thank you for choosing with intention.

Thank you for supporting the work behind the brand.

Thank you for helping us build something that lasts.

Miigwech.

For the ones creating a new path without forgetting where they come from.

OUR CLOTHING IS THE FRONT DOOR.
The story behind it is what makes it different.
