The Origins of Origen RV Accessories

The Beginning
RV SnapPad is an independent, family-owned company. Our journey started with Gordon Wilson, his wife Barbara, and his three sons launching the first version of SnapPad from their garage back in 2015.

SnapPad started life with one pad size (9”), two packages (4-pack and 6-pack), and a modest website. We had no initial orders from major distributors or RV dealers and no official endorsement from anyone in the industry. 

All we had was the concept of permanent jack pads, the conviction that they could improve the RVing experience, and an American rubber manufacturer willing to take a chance and make our products for us.  

First Steps
RV SnapPad officially made its first sale on September 30th, 2015. Word began to spread through online forums and communities, and by December, we had managed to sell dozens of packs. 

By the Spring of 2016, we were not only getting consistent interest in the world’s only permanent jack pad but requests for new versions of the product as well. That July, we released the SnapPad XTRA based on customer feedback for added water drainage channels. Later that year, we released our second product line – SnapPad HiWay – based on feedback and demand from the RVing community.

Evolution
RV SnapPad now features more than a dozen pad shapes and sizes as well as over 50 different packages. We’re carried by every major North American RV distributor and sold in hundreds of RV dealerships. 

It is truly a dream come true for our family to work and grow together, and thanks to the incredible support we have received from RVers, we have been able to continue to release new RV products and accessories.
